My Client, a market leading, multidisciplinary Engineering and Environmental Consultancy, is searching for an Assistant Drainage Engineer to join their Flood Risk Team based in Warrington.

This exciting role will offer candidates the opportunity to join a friendly team of Engineers to complete Flood Risk, Environmental and Drainage Projects for Residential Development Projects, Hospitals, Schools, Renewable Energy Projects for Housing Developers, Local Authorities and Private Sector Clients.

Key Responsibilities:

Flood Risk Assessments for flood zones 1, 2, and 3. Flood Risk Mapping using ArcGIS. Flood Consequence Assessments. Drainage Strategy for Planning Applications and Drainage Design using Microdrainage and Causeway Flow.

Minimum Requirements: Strong BSc and/or MSc in Civil Engineering, Environmental Management, Hydrology, or a related field. Experience working for a Consultancy or Local Authority completing drainage strategies and design using Microdrainage or Flow. Local residency and a keen interest in Civil Engineering, Flood Risk Assessments, or Flood Consequence Assessments.
