Conduct all activities associated with Quality Control within the goods receiving, manufacturing, final inspection and calibration environments to ensure Zero Defect product to both internal and external customers. Job Description

Perform quality control inspection tasks within the manufacturing facility, at vendor or on customer sites in line with part reports and associated specifications. Document inspection results and file documentation in an accurate and timely manner. Raise QNs to report nonconforming product and support continuous Improvement initiatives in an attempt to reduce the defects identified. Support Customer Inspections to ensure customer satisfaction of compliance to requirements for all deliverables. Work in a safe manner and ensure all employees and visitors are aware of potential dangers in the work area, practice good housekeeping and properly dispose of all waste according to safety and environmental policies. You are meant for this job if:

Ability to work on assignments with the occasional need for coaching, support and guidance. Customer focused – delivering right first time Quality, on time. Ability to identify, notify, control and contain products and processes that do not conform to requirements. Ability to use Engineering tools, such as TCE & MS Office, independently and consistently. Ability to use of inspection tools such as gauge blocks, callipers, and micrometres, to verify the Product/Service conformance to a specified standard or requirements. Positive outlook in stressful situations. Understanding of types of Data, Measurement scales, Data Collection Methods, Data Accuracy and Integrity Techniques. Recognised Apprenticeship or applicable proven work experience, SVQ3, HNC or equivalent. The provision and presentation of data & metrics relating to the quality of the product being inspected. Working knowledge of our QMS processes and procedures; and legislative requirements. Good verbal and written communication skills with the ability to perform the activities of storing and maintaining quality records. Understanding of continuous improvement methodologies and has the ability to support improvement initiatives. Product Knowledge: Knowledge of WCS, WAS, SDS & SSC products and associated tooling etc. Manufacturing processes awareness, inspection, auditing, calibration, data analysis techniques and quality principles. Ability to Interpret the basic elements of a quality system, including a deeper understanding of Cost of Quality (COQ), Cost of Non-Quality (CNQ) principles. What we offer
