An exciting opportunity has been created to play a key role in our dynamic and expanding company, assisting in the day-to-day responsibility for our digital and data processes for a Technical Support role within our Digital Services team.

Job Opportunity

Reporting to the Digital & I.T. Services Manager, the Digital Services department is a small team responsible for the day-to-day management, operations and support of our eBook and eAudio content and services to publishers and customers around the globe.

As a new member to this growing team, you will be providing first and second line technical support for our digital products, technical services, and data feeds, to trade customers, publishers, consumers, and other departments. This includes managing the systems and processes that validate and import new digital content, and liaison with the 8500 publishers who do supply us. You will also be monitoring and maintaining our digital catalogue and database, ensuring that new and updated content is available for sale in a timely manner. Our digital content sales continue to increase, and to ensure continued growth supporting our sales team in maintaining customer relationships is pivotal.

Essential Skills

The ideal candidate will have the following experience/skills:

Excellent communication and negotiating skills. A background in I.T. support. Some experience with eBooks, Audio Books, and other digital media products. Familiarity with current mobile devices. Experience with xml, csv, and other data file types. Scheduling and project management experience. Enthusiasm and demonstrate a willingness to learn new skills.
