Duties and responsibilities
Support definition and drafting of the System Development Plans in accordance with the recognized standards (ARP4754, ARP4761)
Organizing and ruling the documentation for program development
Define High level System Requirements and System Architecture
Flow-down of requirements from system to items level (SW, HW, MECH, etc.)
Review of low-level requirements for the various subassemblies and components (mechanical parts, electronic boards, optical and opto-electronics components, software and firmware (FPGA) modules), configuration parameters
Required Skills
University degree in Electronics, Opto-Electronics, Aerospace, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, Physics or equivalent
Knowledge of avionics, navigation and related algorithms, control systems theory
Knowledge of main communication interfaces and protocols
Knowledge of relevant System and Safety engineering standards such as ARP-4754, ARP-4761
Knowledge of RTCA DO-160, MIL-STD-810, MIL-STD-461 environmental/EMC test standards
Knowledge of MathWorks MATLAB/Simulink
