Electrician

Are you an experienced Electrician looking for a good work/life balance? Interested in a guaranteed 5 month contract? Working within an established trades and maintenance team, the successful applicant will work closely with the organisation's Electrical Services Manager to undertake electrical maintenance including responsive repairs, voids, planned works, and testing and inspecting. As an Electrician, you will receive instructions and complete reports via PDA, covering jobs that will involve immersion heaters, showers, fans, communal and security lighting, domestic electrics, completion of minor works certificates and inspection, testing & remedial work on exchanges and voids. What does the Electricians' day-to-day look like? Undertake electrical duties involving responsive repairs Take responsibility for planning your daily workload and prioritising jobs Work unsupervised on tasks to completion and using your own initiative Problem solve to fix minor issues Replacing switches, light fitting, cable runs etc. Delivery of effective and high-quality electrical work The Ideal Electrician: If you are a highly motivated and experienced Electrician, with a background in domestic repairs and maintenance and you have worked within the construction or housing industries in the past, then we would love to speak with you. You'll need to be willing to travel around the local area. You will need an 18th Edition certification as well as a testing and inspection certificate. What will you get?
