We are currently recruiting personnel at all levels in the Norwich areas and Thetford & Mildenhall areas, who are qualified, skilled, and experienced. We are looking for: Skilled Trades: Semi Skilled: Welders:
Welder Fabricator:
Working on varied light gauge jobs, fabricating sheet metal panels, tubing, frames, supports, etc. Welding to high specifications using MIG mainly, and ideally able to weld using TIG as well.
Welder:
Working on varied structural jobs, fabricating frames, supports, etc. Welding to high specifications using MIG.
Fabricator Welder Supervisor or Charge Hand:
Working on fabrication of sheet metal, plate, angle, box, tube. Supervising a small team of welders to ensure their work is completed safely, to quality control specifications, and on schedule. Ordering materials for each job.
Fabricators:
Measuring, marking out, cutting, and prepping metal boxes, tubes, angles, and frames for specialized work using gas cutters, saws, grinders, and drills.
Semi Skilled Fabricators:
Cutting, prepping metal boxes, tubes, angles, and frames for specialized work. Grinding and polishing sheet metal and steel plate. Assisting fabricators and sheet metal workers with their work when required.
Key Qualifications:
Should ideally be qualified to C&G or NVQ in Engineering, Sheet Metal Work, or Welding & Fabrication. CNC Machinery experience ideally with Amada & Trumpf Machines.
Hours:
0730 to 1600 Mon to Fri, plus often work overtime. 1630 to 0200 Mon to Fri, plus often work overtime.
Pay Rates: Welders, Fabricators, Sheet Metal Workers: GBP 15 to GBP 17+ per hour. Semi Skilled & Trainee Welders: GBP 12 to GBP 13 per hour depending on skills and qualifications.
