Are you a CAD Technician / Draughtsperson with a background in Manufacturing and/or Hydraulics, looking for a new and exciting opportunity to help produce drawings for bespoke and specialist equipment, supplying into unique industry sectors, including oil and gas, subsea engineering, heavy industry, industrial process and whisky distilleries?
Are you looking to become immersed in an integral role as a part of a highly skilled Design Team, where you will be responsible for effectively delivering assigned design ventures of high-value projects across various applications within the lifting and offshore sectors?
On offer:
The opportunity to work within a close-knit design team, where you will be responsible for resource management, generating and checking BOMs and drawings, and maintaining draughting processes and procedures. You will contribute hands-on contributions to generating lifting arrangement drawings with mechanical design engineers.
The Role:
Generation and checking of engineering drawings, deck layouts, and associated Bills of Materials. Creating detailed fabrication, machining, and assembly drawings, creation of BOMs, and communicating design data to project teams, suppliers, and sub-contractors. Maintaining, creating, and documenting draughting processes and procedures to ensure best-in-class draughting and engineering. Implementing workflow processes, ensuring continual improvement of draughting activities. Designing equipment in line with project Functional Design Specifications and project budgets as set out by the Project managers, BD Team, and Engineering Manager.
The Person: Experience as a CAD Technician / Draughtsperson. Desirable: Experience with hydraulics and electrical schematics.
