Our client is a busy private developer, focused on detached and flatted new build housing developments across central Scotland. They are seeking an experienced Estimator with a strong background in flatted developments to join their office-based team in South Glasgow. The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurately estimating the costs and resources required for residential detached and flatted development projects.

Key responsibilities include: Preparing detailed cost estimates and budgets for flatted development projects. Analysing project specifications, drawings, and other documentation to prepare time, cost, materials, and labour estimates. Collaborating with architects, engineers, and construction managers to ensure accurate and comprehensive estimates. Evaluating and negotiating with subcontractors and suppliers. Monitoring project costs and progress to ensure projects remain within budget. Providing regular updates and reports to senior management.

Skills and Qualifications: Proven experience as an Estimator, specifically in flatted developments. Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and legal regulations. Proficiency in estimating software and tools. Excellent analytical and mathematical skills. Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities. Effective communication and negotiation skills.
