This contract is working on a Government Ministerial Department formed in 1988, with an annual budget of up to £138 billion. You will be covering a few sites, with the majority of the time spent at 1-2 buildings. This is not a mobile position, and you will not be required to travel between sites during the day.

Key Responsibilities of a Maintenance Electrician:
Carry out PPM and reactive tasks to provide maximum efficiency, availability, and reliability.
Perform testing and inspecting of electrical systems in accordance with industry and site standards.
Undertake defect surveys on electrical plant and systems, providing reports as requested by engineering management.
Carry out minor new works installations, commissioning, and testing.
Provide assistance to third parties as required.
Act upon reasonable requests and instructions from Contract Supervisor.
Liaise with and respond to the Helpdesk, ensuring urgent maintenance tasks are responded to within appropriate and contracted timescales.
Partake in on-call roster.
Work reasonable overtime as required.
Assistance on other sites can be expected.
Requirements of a Maintenance Electrician:
18th Edition Wiring Regulations
C&G Level 3/Parts 1&2 or equivalent Electrical Installation
C&G 2391/2392 Testing and Inspection (ideal but not essential)
