The position provides an ideal opportunity for an ambitious, energetic and capable individual who is confident in communicating effectively with colleagues, multi-disciplinary teams, contractors and regulatory authorities from project inception to completion. The candidate must be able to demonstrate confidence in decision making during site works and competent in working independently where necessary.
Key Responsibilities
Regularly attending site (including overnight stays), undertaking investigations, walkovers and monitoring Managing projects, dealing with suppliers and preparation of health and safety documentation Liaising with clients and regulators In situ sampling and testing methods, including using Dutch hand augers and trial pitting Logging of soils to relevant and up-to-date environmental guidance Report writing Scheduling laboratory testing, where required Willingness to learn and take on other environmental disciplines as required Requirements
Relevant degree in the environmental / geotechnical / soil science sector Work experience in the industry preferred but not required Full UK driving license Ability to travel to site regularly as required including regular overnight staying Benefits
