Responsibilities

Direct supervisor for the maintenance team. Managing holidays, absence, shifts, and arranging cover when required. Be the first point of contact for the maintenance team. General maintenance and repairs on mobile plant, including forklift trucks, 360 excavators, and a range of other plant machinery on site. General maintenance and repairs on fixed plant, including conveyors, shredders, granulators, and other general recycling plant machinery. Ensuring critical spares stock is reported. Ensure repair sheets are completed. Follow all Health & Safety policies and procedures. Work to a maintenance schedule, recording all tasks completed. Attend breakdowns, diagnose faults, and fix. Advise operators on basic operator maintenance and optimizing how to run the machines. Additional ad-hoc duties when and where required. Skills Required

Previous supervisor/manager experience. Previous experience in recycling machinery maintenance. Confident in dealing with a wide variety of machinery. Enjoys working outdoors in a busy environment. Reliable with a strong work ethic and demonstrates a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
