We are seeking a talented Maintenance Electrician to join our team in the industry. If you have a passion for maintaining and improving equipment in a fast-paced environment, we want to hear from you! This is an opportunity to join an established organisation with 25+ years in the industry, working with an already established maintenance team. The Maintenance Electrician will be required to work the following Shift: Double Days – 6am till 2pm & 2pm till 10pm – Rotating weekly. Benefits the Maintenance Electrician will receive: Pension Contribution up to 8% 22+8 days holiday Staff Discount Food & Drink facilities Plenty of Overtime Key Responsibilities for the Maintenance Electrician: Perform scheduled and reactive maintenance on a range of equipment, including PLCs, textile machinery, and sewing equipment. Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical, electrical, and software issues effectively. Collaborate with production teams to minimize downtime and optimize equipment performance. Conduct regular inspections and preventative maintenance tasks to ensure equipment reliability. Document maintenance activities and assist in continuous improvement initiatives. Experience and Qualifications the Maintenance Electrician will hold: Proven experience as a Maintenance Engineer in FMCG or textiles environments. Strong knowledge of PLC systems and control mechanisms Experience with: Hydraulics & Pneumatics, Conveyor systems, Sewing equipment. Welding abilities: MIG / TIG / ARC Able to read Engineering Drawings. Hands-on experience with textile machinery and sewing equipment. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work double days and adapt to changing priorities. Apprentice trained – holding a Level 3 – City & Guilds / NVQ in Electrical engineering Please Note: Candidates must have the right to live and work in the UK.
