Our client is currently on the lookout for a CNC Machine Centre Setter Operator. Job details Schedule: 9-5 pm - Monday to Friday Shift Patterns Available Salary:
£11.85 per hour Key Maintenance CNC Operator Responsibilities: Knowledge of CMM measuring & SPC Make adjustments & corrections based on measurement data. Set up & replace tooling. Complete routine machine maintenance activities. Loading & unloading parts from input & output conveyors. Use of supplemental equipment including engraving, flaw detection, and hydraulic pressing. Contribute to a culture of Continuous Improvement & Safe Working. Communicate well with colleagues on alternative shifts, conduct thorough handovers, and highlight issues to the site management team. Follow Safe Systems of Work. Adherence to Standard Operating Procedures & process control systems. Pride in quality of work and workplace. Auditing and Control of Consumables. Read drawings & measure parts to drawing tolerances. Use of Co-ordinate Measuring Machines & measuring instruments. Self-motivated & conscientious. Reliable & punctual. Ability & drive to root cause & prevent reoccurrence of faults. Good IT skills and quick to learn new skills on CNC Systems.
