Manufacturing Production Manager Northampton £30,000 - £40,000 DOE Monday – Friday 40 hours We have partnered with a growing business in Northampton, who are looking for an experienced production manager to join their new in-house design and manufacturing team. You will effectively oversee the production teams, optimise processes, ensuring high quality standards and production deadlines. Key Duties:

Oversee daily production operations, ensuring timely and quality completion of orders. Manage the end-to-end production process, coordinating with design, procurement, and logistics. Lead and develop a team of upholsterers and production staff, fostering a collaborative work environment. Implement and enforce quality control measures to meet company standards. Manage inventory, ensuring efficient material usage and maintaining stock levels. Develop production schedules and prioritise workloads to meet deadlines. Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations. The Ideal Candidate:

A minimum of 2+ years in managing production teams and improving manufacturing processes. Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Experience in production scheduling, inventory management, and quality control. Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams. Desirable:

Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, or equivalent experience is preferred. Experience in upholstery or furniture manufacturing, or knowledge of upholstery techniques, materials, and furniture manufacturing processes. Proficient in upholstery techniques, materials, and equipment, including CNC and sewing processes. Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma is desirable. In return they will offer:
