Quantity Surveyor (Belfast)

Excellent salary DOE Pension Great holiday entitlement Healthcare plan Company car Exceptional team and support The role: Analyse construction drawings and specifications to identify labour, material, and specialist requirements Preparation of enquiry documents, sourcing and obtaining material and subcontractor quotations including final negotiations and placement of sub-contractor orders Negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors on a regular basis to ensure budgets are not exceeded Complete monthly sub contractor valuations through to final account Complete monthly valuations to PQS and record all additional works items What we’re looking for: Degree in Quantity Surveying / Construction Management or in other related disciplines. Applicants with HND/HNC or strong construction related experience will also be considered for the role Experience in Estimating / Quantity Surveying role within a Main Contracting organisation for at least 2 years Be articulate, pro-active with excellent commercial acumen and communication skills and comfortable working with minimum supervision Be able to demonstrate initiative whilst working in a team environment Proficient in Microsoft packages including outlook, word, excel and project If this sounds like the role for you, APPLY today or get in touch!
