Our client, a well-established automotive workshop in Harlow, is seeking an experienced technician to join their friendly team.

With over 20 years of industry experience, their team is dedicated to providing top-quality vehicle repairs and maintenance. You'll be working alongside qualified and experienced professionals in a supportive and collaborative environment.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of diagnostic equipment and be proficient in operating various vehicle repair tools. Additional skills such as electrical, welding, coding, or engine rebuild would be a valuable asset but not essential.

Key Responsibilities:

Vehicle Repairs: Perform general vehicle repairs, including brake and suspension replacements. Vehicle Servicing: Conduct industry-standard vehicle servicing to maintain optimal performance. Diagnostics: Diagnose vehicle issues, identify faults, and write detailed reports outlining findings and recommended repairs. Maintenance: Maintain a clean and organised work environment to ensure equipment longevity and workplace safety. Customer Communication: Communicate effectively with customers regarding repairs or the results of investigations, as needed.

The successful candidate will have: At least 3 years' experience in a similar role. Knowledge of diagnostic computer equipment for effective vehicle troubleshooting and repair. Ability to demonstrate proficiency in operating all necessary vehicle repair tools and equipment. Excellent time management skills to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines. Full Clean UK Driving Licence.

Benefits: Monday - Friday. On-site Parking. Overtime and weekends available. 20 Days Holiday.
