Our client is looking for a

Data Product Developer

to be at the forefront of creating innovative data-driven solutions that enhance their services and improve customer experiences. This role would be working 3 days onsite and 2 days working from home, with a choice of either Birmingham, London, Darlington or Bristol as a base location. This is will be a 3 month initial contract with extensions to follow and this role has been deemed Inside IR35.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop data products that enhance customer experience. Analyse and interpret complex data sets to identify trends and opportunities for product development. Design user-friendly interfaces for data products that meet customer needs and preferences. Implement data quality measures to ensure the integrity and accuracy of data being used in our products. Conduct market research to stay updated on industry trends and identify growth opportunities in data-driven products. Document product requirements and specifications to ensure clarity and alignment among stakeholders. Test and iterate on data products based on user feedback and performance metrics.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Telecommunications, or a related field. Proven experience in data product development or a similar role - ETL or Data Warehousing. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to translate customer needs into data solutions. Familiarity with data visualization tools and programming languages like Python or R. Excellent communication skills to present complex data concepts in an understandable manner. Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment. Experience with agile methodologies and project management tools.
