Within the group there are 3 specialist Commercial Groundcare machinery depots dealing with many high profile council and amenity partners. We are currently recruiting for a skilled Commercial Groundcare Service Technician to join our Rotherham, team to:- Work within the depot and onsite as part of a team and independently. Carrying out servicing, and mechanical repairs of all types of Groundcare machinery. Use modern diagnostic equipment to identify and repair electrical and hydraulic faults. Deal directly with customers to explain faults and proposed repair solutions. Be involved in complying quotations for repairs you have assessed. Completing work records to a high standard for customer invoices and manufacturers warranty. Key skills we are looking for are:- Minimum of 3 year’s experience in Groundcare or Agricultural engineering or transferable skills from sectors such as Construction or transport machinery. Experience with modern emission-controlled engines, Hydraulics, electrics and electronics as well as mechanical experience. Can do attitude and flexibility to work flexible hours to suit the seasonal demands of Commercial Groundcare Machinery. Being able to work to a high standard whilst being aware of good time management. Full clean driving licence. Entitled to work in the UK. Full manufacturer training will be given, due to the size and variety of the business there will be opportunities to specialise in specific products in time and move to other roles within the group as your skills and experience develop.
