Manage the installation of Plumbing & Heating Projects with mechanical & Heat Pump works in the pipeline. Attend Client site meetings and manage contract variations which may occur during the project. Support the specialist teams covering design and pricing. Attend and report on pre-start meetings and subsequent meetings throughout the contract. Plan, manage & cost of resources (including materials) both subcontract and direct labour. Create Risk Assessments, Method Statements and Operation & Maintenance manuals. Ensure Work is completed within target dates, budgets, and snag free. Deal with Contract Variations. Manage a number of projects ranging from £20k to £1.2m. Projects will vary from Domestic to Commercial. Mechanical Project Manager Job Requirements
Previous experience within the Plumbing and heating industry including knowledge of other mechanical systems such as Heat Pumps. Ability to manage projects from order to completion including all labour & material requirements. ONC/HNC qualification in Building Services (HVAC) is preferred but not essential. CSCS Card Holder. Candidates will possess a proven track record of building strong professional relationships and project management. The successful individual must be competent with working from CAD drawings.
