With a reputation for delivering exceptional quality and craftsmanship, the company is currently seeking a talented and driven Senior Site Manager to join their team for a prestigious project in Crewkerne, Somerset. This exciting opportunity involves overseeing the construction of a luxury new build and the refurbishment of a listed property, set in the stunning Somerset countryside, over the next 3 years. Job Overview: The Senior Site Manager will play a key role in ensuring the successful delivery of this luxury new build and refurbishment project. With at least 5 years of experience in managing high-end residential projects, the Senior Site Manager will oversee all site operations, manage construction teams, and ensure the project is completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This is a permanent position offering significant career development opportunities. Key Responsibilities: Oversee and manage day-to-day site operations for the luxury new build and refurbishment project. Ensure the project is delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Lead and manage construction teams, subcontractors, and suppliers. Conduct regular site inspections to ensure progress is in line with plans and specifications. Collaborate closely with the project manager to monitor progress, resolve any issues, and ensure effective communication between all teams. Monitor health and safety procedures, ensuring compliance with all regulations and company policies. Ensure quality control standards are met and that work is completed to the required specifications. Report regularly to senior management on project status, including costs, timelines, and quality. Troubleshoot and resolve issues that may impact project delivery, including resource allocation and site-specific challenges. Maintain clear, accurate, and up-to-date site records, including daily reports and documentation. Manage site logistics, ensuring materials and resources are available when needed. Qualifications and Skills: A degree or equivalent qualification in Construction Management or a related field. At least 5 years of experience in a Site Manager role, ideally on luxury residential or listed building projects. Strong knowledge of construction processes, methods, and best practices. Proven ability to manage large-scale, high-end projects from start to finish. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure to meet deadlines. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office applications. Full UK driving licence and own transport (preferred).
