You will be responsible for planning, overseeing, and supervising jobs. You should have an extensive and broad skill base from different industries, be able to read drawings, produce specifications, and turn them into work. Excellent communication skills are essential to communicate with clients and grow long-term business relationships. The role will require the person to work in different roles depending on project complexity, working on machine installations covering aspects of pneumatics, mechanical, pipework, and maintenance processes. You will be:
An experienced Senior Mechanical maintenance engineer. Holding a minimum of NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Electrical Engineering. Having experience of PPM and systems and paperwork. Able to read mechanical and electrical drawings. Capable of managing a project from cradle to grave. Able to work to a high standard of finish. Possessing excellent team and communication skills. Professional, as the role can be customer-facing. Able to lead a team and have good man management skills. In possession of a driving license. Experienced in disassembly and reassembly of mechanical systems and providing machine maintenance and PPM at customer sites when required. Personal development is an integral part of the role, so a can-do attitude is a must. All interviewees must be able to substantiate any qualifications with certification.
