Environmental, Sustainability and Social Value Coordinator
to join their team working around our sites in the East Midlands Region.
As our ESS Coordinator, you will assist in developing and maintaining best practice, driving standards and monitoring performance against our commitments to environmental and sustainability excellence. You will ensure all projects in the region comply with associated environmental legislation, consents, permits, licenses and targets, conduct environmental risk assessments, considering how risks could be reduced, whilst preparing and submitting relevant consents and exceptions.
To be successful in this role, you will have previous experience within a similar role, educated to degree level in an environmental field (e.g. Geography, Ecology), and you will also hold an IEMA / Environmental Management certificate. You will have excellent industry best practice knowledge. Confident in the use of Word, Excel and PowerPoint, you will promote proactive engagement and communication with project teams, subcontractors, and external stakeholders.
