This is a new role, which means you will have the opportunity to develop it and truly make it your own. The Role As the Product Development Manager (Facades and Building Profiles), you will play a pivotal role in driving innovation and operational excellence at Trueline Products. You will lead the development of new products, enhance existing offerings, and oversee legal compliance while managing the Product Development team. Additionally, you will spearhead research and development initiatives to help the business grow and improve production workflows. This is an exciting opportunity to shape the future of our product lines, refine systems and processes, and contribute to the success of an expanding family business. Key Responsibilities Product Development Lead the development of new products, ensuring they meet customer specifications, industry standards, and legal compliance. Enhance and refine existing products to maintain a competitive edge in the market. Drive innovation and ensure Trueline Products remains at the forefront of facade and construction manufacturing technologies. Team Leadership Manage and support the Product Development team, ensuring optimal performance and workflow efficiency. Improve CAD processes, focusing on both 2D and 3D design systems, to ensure a seamless integration with production needs. Collaborate closely with the Operations Manager, surveying team, and key stakeholders to align R&D goals with business objectives. Operational Improvement Optimise production workflows, particularly for Laser and Punch Machines, to improve efficiency and output quality. Develop and implement new systems to enhance overall production capabilities. Work alongside cross-functional teams to ensure smooth coordination between design, production, and delivery. Qualifications and Experience Engineering degree or equivalent technical qualification. Extensive experience in CAD (2D and 3D), with SolidWorks expertise preferred. Programming experience, particularly in the context of manufacturing systems. Proven track record in product development, preferably within the construction/manufacturing sector.
