12-Month Fixed Term Swissport is looking for a highly motivated and experienced Duty Manager to lead and manage a dedicated team in our busy Cargo operations. You will be key in ensuring the smooth, efficient delivery of customer airline targets, while adhering to company policies, customer requirements, and brand values. Responsibilities Key Responsibilities: Shift & Work Activity Management : Oversee and control shift operations, ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently, on time, and according to company guidelines. Reporting : Produce accurate and detailed Handling Reports as needed, ensuring they meet the required standards for both internal and customer stakeholders. Cost Control : Manage and control labour and equipment costs during your shift while planning for operational needs. Staff Management : Lead, motivate, and engage a team of staff across warehouse, ramp, and office facilities to maximize productivity. Ensure resources are effectively utilized to meet targets. Health & Safety Compliance : Maintain strict adherence to Health & Safety guidelines, as well as company policies regarding training, quality, and regulatory requirements. Monitoring Sickness & Disciplinary Processes : Oversee sickness management on a shift basis, conduct sickness interviews, and apply disciplinary procedures when necessary. Communication & Stakeholder Engagement : Maintain clear and effective communication with all relevant stakeholders to ensure smooth operations. Reception & Operational Control : Ensure the smooth operation of Reception areas and assist in resolving any operational issues as they arise. Qualifications Qualifications & Competencies: A minimum of

5 years' experience

in the Cargo or Aviation industry, with a deep understanding of

Cargo, Warehouse, and Ramp

operations. Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills, particularly in a high-pressure, 24/7 operational environment. Excellent knowledge of

Operational Office functions

and a good working knowledge of

Microsoft Office

and PC systems. Customer-focused with a passion for quality and service excellence. Strong interpersonal skills and resource management capabilities. Ability to work effectively in

inclement weather
