a CNC Setter/Operator . The client is one of the world’s leading suppliers of Pilling equipment with over 40 years of experience in designing, developing, and manufacturing in the UK. This role is based in Milton Keynes, and you will be responsible for setting and operating CNC mills and lathes to manufacture components to drawings and on time to plan, working in the Machine Shop. Responsibilities will include: Set and operate CNC vertical and horizontal twin pallet mills, turning centres with live tooling. CNC lathes using Fanuc control system and 5 Axis CNC machining centre with 8 pallet AWC. Select appropriate tools and machine settings. Set and operate manual milling, turning, and grinding machines. Check parts to drawings using measuring equipment. Prepare raw materials. Material handling. Requirements of the CNC Setter/Operator: Reliable and punctual. Attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Experience working with a variety of materials. Come from a CNC background and a similar role. Able to keep workspace and machines clean and tidy. Minimum 2 years’ experience in setting and operating CNC lathes and mills with Fanuc. Shifts & Pay: Monday to Thursday 7.45 am to 4.30 pm. Friday 7.45 am to 3.30 pm. 39 hours per week. This is a temp-to-perm role. Paying £13.00 to £15.00 per hour depending on experience. Due to the high volume of inquiries that we receive, we are not always able to respond to all CVs.
