Salary and Benefits of the Mechanical Engineer: Annual salary of £65,000 Competitive Company Pension Scheme Private Medical Insurance 30 Days Holiday Life Assurance 5 x Annual Salary Healthcare Cash Plan Roles and Responsibilities of the Mechanical Engineer: This role requires flexibility as there is travel to various different sites involved. This role is pivotal in ensuring Mechanical Equipment and Piping specification complies with relevant technical standards. There is ample responsibility in modifying, improving and optimizing existing equipment. Key Responsibilities: Responsible for all mechanical equipment scope – valves, piping and rotating machines. Ensuring the application of appropriate engineering codes, standards and management of any deviation from standards. Participate in Process Hazard Analysis Studies (HAZOP / HAZID) Manage and participate in the design and safe operation of oil, gas and chemical storage transportation equipment. Being a member of the Operational Duty Manager rota. Requirements and Qualifications of the Mechanical Engineer: Mechanical Engineering Degree of equivalent Strong working knowledge of applicable API, EN, EEMUA and ASME Standards. Experience of working within MAH Environments. Previous experience of working in a COMAH Regulated Environment. Significant experience within Projects involving mechanical design, including specification of Tanks, Valves, Piping, Site Commissioning and Troubleshooting experience. How to Apply:
