We're supporting our client, a leading global manufacturing company based in West Drayton, who are looking for a Toolmaker to join their growing team. The successful Toolmaker will have experience with the manufacturing of new tooling. You can either have experience of press or mould tooling.

Position Overview:

As a Toolmaker, you'll be responsible for the repair, maintenance and improvement of press tools and mould tools. Your primary focus will be on the manufacture of new tooling and ancillary spares to support production activity.

Responsibilities for Toolmaker:

Manufacture new tooling and ancillary spares to support production activity. Responsible for the repair, maintenance and improvement of press tools and mould tools. Evaluate repair jobs to determine extent of work involved in order to return tool to Production. Plan your work effectively and efficiently to meet the needs of the Toolroom and the business, as a whole, and to ensure costs are kept within budget and to achieve key dates whilst maintaining the highest quality of workmanship. Operate manual mills, grinders and lathes. Use of calibrated measuring equipment and understanding of Engineering Tool drawings. To comply with all current working instructions operable within the business. Comply fully with all current health, safety & environmental regulations in operation within the business whilst carrying out your duties.
