Our projects range in value from £5k to £15m, taking the role of Principal Contractor and Principal Designer on various schemes, and supporting our valued Tier 1 contractor clients in a subcontractor and off-site manufacturing capacity. Role Purpose We are currently recruiting for a number of Electricians to join us on a permanent and full time basis. This role will involve working as a team of electricians on a number of industrial and water industry programmed of work. You will be working on strategic partner's sites across London. The Role This is a permanent job opportunity. Contracted to 40hrs per week Monday to Friday. Paid hourly, with overtime paid. Overtime during the weekends paid at inflated rate. You will be paid travel time door to door, on top of contracted and overtime hours. To be responsible for completing electrical installations in accordance with BS7671 and Bridges Electrical Safety Rules and Essential Standards Ensure that all Health and Safety legislation and regulations are adhered to Ensure that all items are installed to the highest standards, in compliance with the project’s quality plan and inspection and test plans To follow and actively promote the STAR dynamic risk assessment and to be empowered to stop work should unsafe circumstances arise To coach and mentor Electrical Improvers and Apprentices Promote and demonstrate the Bridges’ values when dealing with peers, staff, customers and clients Promote positive health and wellbeing amongst their peers To act in a professional manner and be an ambassador for Bridges, supporting the business goals and maintaining the company’s positive reputation Minimum Requirements ECS gold card (essential) Experience as an approved Electrician Able to manage own and others workload Emergency first aid or First Aider Full UK driving licence Fit to work medical. Desirable EUSR water hygiene Thames water passport Inspection and testing certificate PASMA / IPAF / Confined space COMPEX Industrial and/or panel wiring experience.
