We currently have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced production planner to join a market leading engineering company in the central Wolverhampton area. Working on a static day shift pattern, the role will involve but not be limited to the below requirements: Planning workload for production using raw material arrival dates and scheduling workload according to due dates. Capacity planning for workload required hours against available hours and overtime planning. Using the internal MRP system to record accurate information and plan against active projects. Reporting progress to customers. Attending weekly production meetings. Use of Microsoft products Project, Excel, and Word. Planning and scheduling of workload for specific machines liaising with different departments on capacity and availability.
