Mechanical Estimator Job Description
A Mechanical Estimator is required for our client, who is a leading Air Conditioning & Mechanical company that provides design, installations, service, and maintenance solutions for their clients. Due to the continuous success and growth of the business, they are now looking to recruit a Mechanical Estimator to join their existing team at their head office in Billericay. The Mechanical Estimator should be based in or around the Essex area for an easy commute to the office in Billericay. The role involves working alongside experienced Project/Contract Managers to assist with the tendering of Air Conditioning & Mechanical projects starting from £5K. Additionally, the role includes traveling to and from commercial sites located in and around Essex & London. Sites will include Schools, Colleges, Universities, and Public Sector Buildings. Junior level Mechanical Engineers, Estimators, Project Managers, and QS will also be considered. The Mechanical Estimator will need to hold a full UK driving license and should ideally come from a background within the Air Conditioning or Mechanical industry with a few years of experience. The client is willing to train and progress the successful candidate. This role is also suitable for graduates. Mechanical Estimator Position Overview
Predominantly working from the office in Billericay but also traveling across London and Essex visiting sites as needed. Working mainly on commercial projects within Schools, Colleges, Universities, and Public Sector Buildings. Collaborating with experienced Project Managers on Air Conditioning projects. Full UK driving license Willingness to learn and progress Have HVAC & Mechanical understanding Hold NVQ or Degree Must be well organized with good IT skills Live within a commutable distance of the office in Billericay Mechanical Estimator Position Remuneration
