Maintenance Supervisor Location : Longridge Road, Preston Shift:

4 on 4 off Hours:

40 hours per week - hours example - Mon-Thurs 2pm-1am, Fri between 12noon-11pm, Saturday between 9am-9pm, Sunday 9am-8pm Salary:

We are proud to pay no less than a living wage to any employee and offer enhanced maternity and paternity benefits. What you’ll be doing: Direct supervisor for the maintenance team. Managing holidays, absence, shifts and arranging cover when required. Be the first point of contact for the maintenance team. General maintenance and repairs on mobile plant, including forklift trucks, 360 excavators and a range of other plant machinery on site. General maintenance and repairs on fixed plant, including conveyors, shredders, granulators and other general recycling plant machinery. Ensuring critical spares stock is reported. Ensure repair sheets are completed. Follow all Health & Safety policies and procedures. Work to a maintenance schedule, recording all tasks complete. Attend breakdowns, diagnose faults and fix. Advise operators on basic operator maintenance and optimising how to run the machines. Additional ad-hoc duties when and where required. Who you are: Previous supervisor/manager experience. Previous experience in recycling machinery maintenance. Confident in dealing with a wide variety of machinery. Enjoys working outdoors in a busy environment. Reliable with a strong work ethic and demonstrate a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. Health and Safety conscious. Strong interpersonal skills. Good time management. Good organisation skills. Has a can-do, positive attitude.
