Responsibilities: Operates power saws, routers, and hand tools of various sizes to customize solid surface materials. Loads and adjusts workpieces onto equipment or worktables, using hand tools. Measures and marks equipment, objects, or parts to ensure grinding and polishing standards are met. Grinds, sands, cleans, or polishes surfaces to correct defects or to prepare surfaces for further finishing, using hand tools and power tools. Troubleshoot and address any issues during fabrication and finishing processes.
The Successful Candidate: Proven experience as a Laminator/Fabricator in a similar manufacturing or workshop environment. Experience in solid surface fabrication would be a great advantage. Be able to work on your own initiative. Must be able to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment whilst keeping good attention to detail. Ability to interpret technical drawings and create bespoke products according to designer specifications. A positive attitude and willingness to learn and adapt in a constantly evolving environment. Excellent communication skills to collaborate with other team members and contribute to project discussions.
