CNC Turner
Contek are recruiting for a CNC Turner Programmer to work in a company based in Dudley. This company is a large outfit that has been in business for decades and has a modern and clean workplace.
This position requires you to program, set, and operate a Sliding Head lathe. We are open to candidates who have experience as a CNC Turner on fixed head lathes.
Requirements:
Program, set, and operate a Sliding Head lathe.
Ability to work from drawings.
Work to tight tolerances as would be found in the Aerospace industry.
Work independently or collaboratively within a team of established engineers.
Desired:
Experience in programming or part programming CNC lathes using Fanuc software or similar.
A can-do attitude and willingness to learn.
Ability to work individually and as a team when required.
Solid engineering foundation or having served an apprenticeship.
Hours:
Monday to Thursday
07:30 - 16:30
Friday
07:30 - 14:30
