For many fans of Formula One, the sport exists between lights and chequered flag on a Sunday afternoon. It begins and ends with the exploits of the drivers on the track. But this is merely the tip of the spear. The reality of modern F1 is that of a complex and intertwined operation, every part of which needs to perform near its limit if success is to be achieved. From the pit crew searching for the ultimate repeatable pit stop, to the inspiration of the designers, the application of engineers and the herculean efforts of an army of fabricators and machinists. Much of our success is thanks to the diversity of thought and spectrum of skill sets held within the team, our ability to recognise unique contributions from individual team members is just a part of why we love what we do. Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic Manufacturing Assistant to join our well-established Chassis team. As a key member of the department, you will report directly to the Machining Group Leader and collaborate to ensure seamless operations of all machinery and equipment. Your primary objective will be to maintain peak operational efficiency, supporting our ambitious manufacturing goals whilst consistently delivering. Your Impact:

Demonstrate unwavering commitment to meeting critical production targets without ever compromising on quality, swiftly arranging external support for breakdowns, and effectively communicating potential delays. Establish and maintain robust standard operating procedures, health & safety records and training matrices for all plant machinery and facility equipment to ensure compliance. Work closely with the various departmental leaders and ensure projects are delivered efficiently and deadlines are met. Take a proactive approach to planning and communicating all scheduled maintenance within Manufacturing, operating within allocated budgets. Make data driven improvements to drive forward our continuous improvement element and ultimately enhance manufacturing performance. Work alongside Manufacturing Engineering/Production Engineering for new capital investments and supervise external technical staff as needed. Champion our Apprentice training programme and set the gold standard for professional work ethics, both in practice and time management. Who we need:

We're looking for a proactive and dedicated individual, someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment with a commitment to deliver exceptional work every time. You must be an effective team player with excellent communication skills at all levels. To hit the ground running, you must bring a passion for continuous improvement and growth to the table. Finally, you should have previous experience within low volume, high precision manufacturing, demonstrating a comprehensive understanding of manufacturing procedures and engineering principles. Not only is this a fantastic Manufacturing Assistant position, but it is also a fantastic team to work with here at Red Bull Technology. A good salary is just the start; there are many other benefits too such as our bonus scheme, private health care cover, life assurance scheme, workplace nursery scheme, company contributed pension scheme, on-site gym & fitness classes, free daily food allowance, and a cycle to work scheme; but above all, the job satisfaction doesn’t get any better than the feeling of making a real contribution to our championship winning grand prix car.
