Troubleshoot system failures on plant and auxiliary equipment. Follow established safety practices and maintain a clean, safe work environment. Mechanical Technician , you must hold a

City and Guilds/NVQ Level 2/3

in a relevant discipline

(i.e. Mechanical and/or Electrical Engineering).

You will troubleshoot complex issues using test procedures and measuring instruments, such as gauges and meters, to assess operational status and adjust. You will interpret diagrams and manuals for emergencies or system malfunctions and operate wastewater and water treatment plants using computer-controlled equipment. Preventive maintenance and repairs on wastewater treatment, auxiliary, and pollution control equipment are also required, along with adherence to safety regulations. You will need a City and Guilds/NVQ Level 2 in an appropriate discipline and a valid CAT B driving license required to operate motor vehicles. All successful applicants will require a security clearance and a right to work in the UK. This position may have certain restrictions to US citizens including US dual nationals due to the Status of Forces Agreement.
