Role Overview: The Machine Setter/Operator will set and operate CNC lathes. Your objectives and responsibilities will focus on… Setting computer numerically controlled (CNC) lathes Producing parts to drawing, deburring, cleaning and packaging to set procedures Ensuring excellent quality through the inspection of parts using measuring equipment such as gauges, verniers and micrometers Working to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), production rates, workplace organisation, front line operator asset care (FLOAC), maintenance and cleanliness of machine equipment Understanding and complying with Company Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) practices, identifying areas for improvement and supporting related initiatives Engaging, suggesting and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives and projects as required Your previous experience is likely to include….
