We are looking for a highly motivated and organised individual to join our marketplace team as an Assistant. This role will involve managing system administrative processes, supporting day-to-day operational tasks, and collaborating closely with the marketplace team to grow accounts and increase revenue. This is a high growth, high focus area in a fast-paced business, and we are now looking for the right person to support our growth plans. Your Team

Debenhams has an exciting portfolio of brands including Coast, Oasis, Wallis, Dorothy Perkins, Burton, Warehouse, Misspap, Nastygal, and Principles. This role will work with the marketplace manager to achieve our goals by securing and launching all brands across all key strategic global partner sites, at pace. What you will be doing

Admin Support for Systems:

You will assist in managing and updating systems, ensuring smooth operations and efficiency whilst managing inventory, pricing updates, and product listings within the marketplace platform. Marketplace Account Management:

You will support the Marketplace team in managing and growing client accounts on various platforms (e.g., Amazon, eBay, Secret sales, etc.), helping with optimising product listings for searchability, engagement, and conversion whilst working alongside the Marketplace team to develop and implement strategies to grow accounts and improve sales performance. 3rd Party Support:

You will act as a liaison between internal teams and external partners whilst providing support for account inquiries, orders, and product concerns. You will get the opportunity to assist in managing marketplace promotions, campaigns, and product launches. Revenue Growth and Strategy Support:

You will assist with market research and competitive analysis to support growth strategies, helping implement and track KPIs to measure marketplace account success and revenue growth. Collaboration and Reporting:

You will coordinate with the sales, marketing, and product teams to align marketplace strategies with broader business goals and regularly update the Marketplace Manager and other team members on progress and any blockers to achieving goals. What you can bring

Strong understanding and use of Microsoft Excel. Experience in dealing with large data sets with consistency and data accuracy. Commercial awareness and comprehensive understanding of planning & trading. At least 3 years’ experience in a digital retail role, preferably a fashion marketplace, fashion digital trading, or fashion wholesale role. Experience with managing Amazon and other leading global marketplaces from a brand side is required. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, to work well under pressure and be able to multitask is a must. Ability to prioritise workflow and ensure challenging deadlines are met, in line with critical path and partner’s needs. Exceptional communication skills, capable of working with Key Accounts, multiple brand teams and supply chain to build productive relationships. Always strives to improve the department’s operation and increase knowledge of own and related job functions. Ability to manage the detail as well as the bigger picture, especially by working collaboratively as a team and being a team player at all costs.
