£30,000 per annum Contract: gap personnel is currently seeking a talented, enthusiastic, and driven individual to join our client based in Cheltenham as a Full-Time Internal Sales Representative. Reporting to the Branch Manager, the Internal Sales Representative is responsible for professionally representing the company brand, building and maintaining strong and lasting relationships with new and existing customers while achieving sales growth. The role also carries the responsibility for being a brand champion, demonstrating and providing expert knowledge, advice, and support when engaging with customers. An immediate start is available to the successful candidate to support us as our client continues to grow and expand their business. Job Responsibilities: As a Full-Time Internal Sales Representative, your primary responsibility will be to proactively reach out to potential customers via phone calls to promote our products/services and generate sales. Your daily tasks will include: Conducting outbound calls to prospective customers to introduce our products/services and explain their benefits. Building rapport with potential customers and identifying their needs and preferences. Building strong working relationships with customers through regular contact with them on the phone. Providing a high level of service to customers by understanding their requirements, responding to requests, progressing orders, and providing expert advice. In order to be successful for the Internal Sales position, you must: Be a self-starter with a proven track record in sales. Build strong relationships and achieve sales growth within Electrical Wholesale. Be a confident and capable communicator with proven experience of selling in a fast-paced and/or telesales environment. Have a passion for providing a great customer service experience. Have the ability to relate well to others and work as part of a team. Have excellent verbal and written communication skills with a professional telephone manner. Skills you will require: A passion or interest in electrical equipment. The ability to provide an exceptional customer service experience. The drive to achieve individual and team-based sales growth on a weekly and monthly basis. Results-oriented. Excellent attention to detail and accurate record-keeping. Be IT literate, preferably with a good working knowledge of MS Excel. Company Benefits: Full-time permanent position. Normal hours of work will be 8 am - 5 pm Monday to Friday.
