Full time/ Fixed term employment The Role: Migration Project Leadership: Plan and execute end-to-end migration projects, ensuring alignment with business goals. Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and timelines. Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, technical leads, and external vendors. Act as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and alignment. Project Planning and Execution: Develop comprehensive project plans, incorporating risk management and mitigation strategies. Monitor project progress to ensure milestones are achieved within scope, budget, and timeline. Work closely with technical teams to manage seamless migration processes. Address and resolve technical challenges to minimize disruption. Allocate resources efficiently and oversee budget utilization. Provide detailed forecasts and reports to senior leadership. Risk Management: Identify potential risks and implement effective mitigation strategies. Conduct post-migration assessments and recommend improvements. Ensure compliance with organizational policies and regulatory requirements. Promote the use of industry best practices and advanced tools for migration projects. What you will bring: Ample experience in IT project management, with a strong focus on migration projects. Proven expertise in managing large-scale migrations, such as on-premises to cloud, data center migrations, or system consolidations. In-depth knowledge of migration methodologies, tools, and frameworks. Certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent are highly desirable. Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud), data migration tools, and IT infrastructure. Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
