The Opportunity We are seeking a dynamic

Contracts Manager

to oversee multiple projects simultaneously, with the current portfolio including new leisure facilities, educational buildings, and commercial developments. Main Responsibilities as the Contracts Manager: Take full responsibility for delivering multiple projects to agreed cost, time, and quality standards. Act as a key liaison between the design, commercial, and site teams. Oversee Health & Safety management, promoting a proactive approach to on-site safety. Develop and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring their expectations are met and exceeded. Manage and coordinate sub-contractors and direct labour forces. Produce accurate records, reports, and progress updates. Provide strategic input on labour costing, design feasibility, and project profitability. Support and mentor project staff to foster a culture of continuous development. What You’ll Need: A proven track record of managing refurbishment and new build projects, ideally within the leisure, education, or commercial sectors. Experience working within frameworks and managing repeat client relationships. Strong commercial acumen and a comprehensive understanding of construction processes, including design, quantity surveying, and procurement. Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills. A sound understanding of Health & Safety and relevant regulations. Demonstrable ability to manage multiple projects effectively.
