Contract About the Client: Our client is a well-established construction firm known for delivering high-quality industrial refurbishment projects across the UK. They are currently seeking an experienced and driven Site Manager to lead a short-term, high-impact project in Peterborough. Role Overview: As the Site Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all on-site activities for the duration of this contract. Your role will involve ensuring that the project is completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards. You will manage subcontractors, maintain health and safety standards, and ensure effective communication with all stakeholders. Key Responsibilities: Oversee and manage all on-site activities for the industrial refurbishment project. Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and the project team to ensure smooth project execution. Monitor project progress, ensuring deadlines are met within the allocated budget. Enforce strict adherence to health and safety regulations on-site. Conduct regular site inspections to maintain quality and safety. Resolve any on-site issues or conflicts promptly. Liaise with the client and provide regular updates on project status. Maintain accurate site records, including daily logs and risk assessments. Requirements: Proven experience as a Site Manager in industrial refurbishment or similar construction projects. Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations and site management practices. Excellent leadership and communication skills. Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks within tight deadlines. Valid CSCS card and SMSTS qualification are essential. First Aid at Work certification is desirable. Full UK driving licence.
