Site Planner
to become a vital part of our onsite
Production Planning Team
at our Produce site in Sittingbourne. If you are passionate about Production and eager to contribute to a dynamic team, this role is perfect for you!
Position Details:
Schedule: 4 on 4 off - 7am - 7pm Location: IPL Sittingbourne - Site Based Role Contract Type: Permanent
Key Responsibilities: Take Charge of Production Planning: You'll be fully responsible for overseeing production planning on site, ensuring everything runs smoothly. Accuracy Matters: Measure the accuracy of tasks and implement corrective actions for any inaccuracies to maintain high standards. Key Communicator: Act as a vital link between the site and the wider business, keeping everyone informed on all planning matters. Stock Ownership: Proactively manage stock ownership, reporting on any issues with orders, splits, and depot delivery performance between the operation and Business Unit. Prompt Returns Handling: Ensure all ASDA product returns are dealt with promptly and efficiently. Collaborate with Product Managers: Work closely with Product Managers regarding stock quality and date rules, and maintain and update planning tools (MRP & E-books). What Are We Looking For?
• Previous experience of working in fast moving and ever-changing environment • Experience of managing a team and setting targets and KPI’s • Previous experience of working within a production planning role would be ideal • Have excellent analytical skills along with experience of working to KPI’s. • Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal • High attention to detail • Computer Literate with intermediate Excel knowledge as well as Microsoft Office. • You should be reliable and flexible and ideally have the ability to work within a multi-functional FMCG environment.
