Role:
We are seeking an HGV Mechanic. The successful candidate must be a fully qualified and experienced HGV mechanic. You will be expected to work in a fast-paced environment and have experience in Vehicle Inspection and MOT preparation of vehicles/ trailers, Fault electrician diagnosis, routine servicing and maintenance, and major component repair and replacement. An HGV license is beneficial. Responsibilities: Carrying out routine maintenance and repairs on all vehicles, trailers and plant to VOSA standards. Diagnosing and rectifying all types of HGV faults. Ensuring health & safety regulations and safe working practices are adhered to. Maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and tidiness. Requirements: Technical qualification or proven experience repairing & maintaining HGV's. Ability to work within guidelines given and to strict deadlines. Ability to work under pressure. Ability to actively seek solutions to problems. Ability to work as part of a team. Good verbal communication skills. Flexibility to undertake a wide range of tasks. Awareness and understanding of health and safety requirements.
