Role Overview As a Junior Product Manager, you will play a crucial role in implementing our product portfolio strategy and managing product lines throughout their lifecycle. You will collaborate with various teams to translate market insights and research into effective product strategies and initiatives. Key Responsibilities Market Research: Analyse market trends, competitor products, and activities to provide insights that shape our product development. Product Lifecycle Management: Oversee the lifecycle of 3rd party product ranges and Blatchford’s in-house product lines. Collaboration: Work with the Product Manager to manage product kits, catalogues, and e-commerce platforms. Strategic Support: Assist the Product Manager and Marketing team in implementing strategies, developing business cases, and supporting product launches and marketing activities. What We’re Looking For Ideal Candidate Profile: Early Career Professional: Eager to develop skills in product management, particularly for physical products such as medical devices. Detail-Oriented: Meticulous with a keen eye for quality and precision. Team Player: Comfortable working with and fitting into multiple teams across the organisation. Quick Learner: Ability to adapt swiftly and embrace new challenges. Empathetic: Understand the significant impact our products have on people’s lives. Passionate: Committed to delivering high-quality work and making a difference. Essential Skills and Qualifications: Education: Relevant degree (Business, Marketing, or related field). Experience: Ideally 1+ years in a product management or planning role. Communication: Excellent written and verbal skills. Teamwork: Strong ability to collaborate effectively within teams. Analytical Skills: Commercially astute with good financial and data analysis capabilities. Multitasking: Proven ability to manage multiple high-priority tasks simultaneously. Independence: Capable of working independently with minimal supervision. Problem-Solving: Confident in making decisions and solving problems.
