As Assistant Designer, you will assist the Senior Designer in the design of tailoring and soft wovens focusing on research, product design, creating CADs and tech packs, and updating range plans for F&F womenswear. You'll be working within a large design team for a well-structured leading supplier in a hybrid role, commuting to London on average 3 days a week. This role is an idealsecond job for a designer with approximately 2 years of commercial experience at a fashion supplier, retailer, or brand, focusing on women's soft wovens and tailoring. Excellent presentation skills and advanced proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Indesign are crucial. This position provides excellent opportunities for career development and progression, emphasizing positive and collaborative teamwork and a high standard of duty execution. UK-based and permanent working rights in the UK are required.

Responsibilities: Assist in designing a variety of women's tailoring and soft wovens for F&F, such as jackets, dresses, skirts, trousers, shirts, and blouses. Support the team with research, identifying the latest trends to inspire and develop new ranges and enhance existing product lines. Communicate with the fabric team regarding new and existing fabrics and submission approvals. Assist in the research and development of trims. Create and update range plans in InDesign for presentations to buyers and internal teams. Convert fabrics into CADs, showcasing a keen eye for scale and accuracy. Create CADs and technical packs in Illustrator with clear instructions for the sample room and factories across various regions. Maintain efficient design administration, organization, and workload prioritization at all times. Essential Skills: A UK-based Assistant Designer with around 2 years of experience

in womenswear design at a fashion supplier, retailer or brand. Experience in designing women's tailoring and soft wovens is essential. Advanced proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Indesign. Exceptional presentation skills. Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail. Ability to organise and prioritise workload effectively. A confident, proactive approach capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment. Ability to communicate effectively with suppliers and colleagues at all levels. Commutable distance to Camden tube.
