We are looking for

B2 Licensed Engineer

to join our base maintenance team based in Aberdeen. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a team which is committed to continual improvement and meeting/exceeding tight deadlines in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. This position will report to the Base Maintenance Supervisor. The successful candidate will be both energetic and passionate, with the safe operation of the department being number one priority. Key Responsibilities:

The B2 Engineer will be responsible for the following activities: Certification of scheduled and non-routine maintenance, within the scope of authorisation approvals held. Responsible for the quality of work carried out by themselves and non-certifying technicians under their supervision. Completion of maintenance, repairs and avionic troubleshooting, as directed by the Base Maintenance Shift Supervisor. Replacement of avionic line replaceable units. Conduct off-aircraft avionic and electrical technical work in avionics workshop as required. Ensuring that they remain current with all amendments to the company procedures/manuals and all other relevant technical data provided. Observe all employee responsibilities to comply with Health, Safety and Environmental policy/procedures. Commitment to company core values and promoting expected culture within the team. Qualifications, Skills & Attributes:

The ideal candidate will have the following: Current UK CAA B2 Licensed Engineer. Type approval holder on the S92 & H175 aircraft is desirable. Demonstrate a minimum of 6 months helicopter experience within the past 24 months. Be self-motivated and have the ability to process complex systems and logically think through problems. Have strong interpersonal and communication skills as the role may require you to communicate internally to persons outside of your trade discipline. Excellent time management skills and be adaptable to changing deadlines/priorities. Be willing to perform other duties from time to time. Candidates must also have the right to live and work in the UK. Candidates will also be required to pass Psychometric evaluations and be able to pass a UK security background check and a disclosure Scotland check required to obtain an airport security pass.
