Fusing our disciplines together provides a unique intellectual opportunity to tackle shared grand challenges. Role

This is a part-time role at 0.8 FTE in the Faculty of Social Sciences (based in the School of Business and Society). The School Marketing Manager reports directly to the Head of Faculty Marketing and Recruitment, who is part of the External Relations Directorate, whilst being based in the School of Business and Society. In addition to colleagues within their own team, the post holder is expected to have regular interactions with various central ‘hub’ teams and academic stakeholders, collaborating with recruitment, admissions, digital, media, and communications teams across External Relations, Marketing, Recruitment, Admissions and Outreach (MRAO), and International Recruitment Partnerships and Mobility (IRPM) to support the University of York’s vision. In this role, you’ll be responsible for primarily developing and executing localized marketing and conversion strategies for the School. You will manage the School’s Digital and Social Media Coordinator and collectively deliver a wide range of marketing and conversion activities from lead generation campaigns, recruitment events, brand management, and conversion activity to social media and brand awareness activity. The Faculty of Social Sciences has a strong marketing foundation, and as the Student Recruitment and Marketing Manager, you’ll enhance our efforts with your leadership, critical thinking, and communication skills.
