As the Labour Manager, you are accountable for our weekly paid staff that operate on various working rule agreements. You will take the lead on any local resourcing conflicts and ensure the best solution is achieved. The Labour Manager's role is to provide effective management of operative labour to support the work of multiple projects.
Requirements:
Relevant M&E installation / construction industry experience. GCSE qualification or higher in Maths and English. NVQ Level 3 – either electronically or mechanically biased - desirable. Good knowledge of work rule agreements - desirable.
Desired Personal Skills: Innovative thinking to support the needs of the operations. Ability to verbally communicate at all levels of seniority to build rapport, trust, and respect. Resilient and flexible when under pressure and can demonstrate agility in a changing landscape. Motivated to seek out where improvements can be made and progressive in identifying effective and efficient ways of managing the weekly workforce. Keen eye for detail and resilient to balance conflicting priorities.
