Overview: First Military Recruitment are currently seeking a Site Manager on behalf of one of our clients. Our client encourages applications from ex-military personnel; however, all candidates will be given due consideration.

Duties and Responsibilities: Assist in developing a contract programme from the Divisional Director's preliminary production targets. Prepare materials delivery schedules. Liaise with sub-contractors appointed by the Company to undertake the work within agreed timetables. Manage and control all site operatives, sub-contractors, and other resources, ensuring that a high level of safety is at the forefront of delivery. Ensure high standards of conduct and workmanship. Call off materials from main/bulk orders and liaise with the buying department for all material needs. Check all deliveries and report on deficiencies, collate and return delivery notes, and maintain all site records. Enact and comply with the Company’s Health and Safety Policy. Keep abreast of current legislative requirements. Liaise with professional consultants and advisors. Enact and comply with the Company’s Disciplinary and Grievance policies and procedures. Skills and Qualifications: Experience in managing construction of new build housing, from inception to completion. Competent with project planning, site Health & Safety, and commercial awareness. Good people management, problem-solving, and time management skills. Excellent communicator, both verbal and written, with the ability to build and maintain key stakeholder relationships. Have Site Management Safety Training Scheme (SMSTS) certification. A full driving licence and car is essential. Relevant First Aid Qualification. NVQ Level 6/7. Valid Scaffold Appreciation Certificate. Valid LOLER certificate. CPCS Telehandler license.
