Job Purpose You will help our Decorative Paints business meet commercial targets by overseeing our price setting strategy. This will include modelling of promotion strategy/guidelines to drive value for our brands as well as capturing external environment data. You will collaborate with the pricing team to ensure smooth handovers for implementation between RRP, cost price hierarchies and discount structures. Job Responsibilities • Develop, implement & monitor pricing strategies. • Provide pricing insight for related projects including category, data, promotional, brand and new product launches. • Carry out quarterly audits of promotional calendars & review promotional plans. • Monitor competitor retail selling pricing & advise of any significant changes. • Maintain/update regularly pricing history database. • Provide data to support business decision making. • Enhance overall understanding of price & price elasticity in the organization. • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and maintain an in-depth understanding of pricing dynamics. Job Requirements • Experience in a commercial or revenue management role. • Ability to identify opportunities across a broad & complex customer/channel base. • Advanced Excel/SAP capabilities. • Effective at overseeing multiple complex projects simultaneously.
